At Brigham and Women's Hospital, epileptologist Dr. Jong Woo Lee kept losing patients to SUDEP — sudden death after a night-time seizure, face-down and unwitnessed. Six of his patients had died. Medications, wearables, and cameras couldn't close the gap, because none of them can do the one thing that saves a life in that moment: physically move the patient.
